I look for a stark and raw beauty in my imagery within the deeply troubling subject of humanities relationship and impact on the Earth and other creatures. Through this body of artwork, my Nature & Art series, my mixed media paintings and prints juxtapose sometimes whimsical and dark imagery with a beautifully rendered image to create tension regarding my subject matter. Each piece strives to awaken desire to reconnect and ignite curiosity of how to live in a way that restores balance with the natural world.
